Battle of the Ghosts . . .

The scene of the last battle fought on British soil, a tussle between government forces & Jacobites loyal to Bonnie Prince Charlie, Culloden Moor is reputedly haunted by those who died during the bloody slaughter. Ghostly soldiers are said to appear on April 16, the anniversary of the battle, & cries of anguish & the sound of clashing swords have also been reported.

Reinvent Your Old Shoes

If you're tired of your old shoes, you can simply reinvent them, & it's really simple. the best thing about giving your old shoes a makeover, that you'll keep them up to date while expressing your style & sense of Fashion.

the number of things you can do are countless, so I'll show you a few ideas to inspire you, whether you're going to work, on a date or to a wedding, in other words they are perfectly wearable through day or night;

For this style, You'll need:

-A pair of rounded or pointed pumps

-Masking tape

-Paintbrush

-White acrylic paint for the first layer, then neon yellow acrylic paint "or any color you desire with glitter or without"

After you add the masking Tape to the cap toe at the front of the heel, press down on them so that the paint wouldn't ruin the professional look. apply the white paint before any color & let it dry for a few hours, as the white paint will help masking the real color of the shoes, to give you a better color result.after the white paint drys, just apply as many coats as you'd like from the yellow paint "or the color of your choice".

 

To remove the brush strokes which were quite pronounced on my suede heels, wait until the paint is semi dry, and then wet your fingers with water and smooth any lines.

You can Add Glitter that has the same color as the Base to help the Glitter have the Exact Desired color while making it Pop

Or, if you're going to use Spray Neon Paint instead, then it'll be better to tape the bottom & the top of your shoes, then hide the rest of your shoes under any old sheet that you don't mind getting it messy, to avoid spray paint splatters on your shoes.

 

as for adding some embellishments & encrusting your shoes, you can get any type of fake crystals, rhinestones or any embroidery to glue onto your shoes.

DIY Dip Dye Jeans

This Pair of Jeans is all about turning heads, the graduating dye style will definitely give you, your own fashion statement. This jeans is perfect to emphasize your hips, & make you look sexier, but if you have a pear body shape, where you have wider hip area, then you should definitely reverse the color gradation, & make the jeans darker from the top & fading towards the bottom into the lighter shade.

You’ll need:
- Old pair of light blue or white jeans
- Pair of  Rubber Gloves
- Black Fabric Dye
- Dark Blue Fabric Dye
- a Large bucket

Start with a pair of acid wash skinnies (and make sure they’re not your favorite pair & if the jeans already have a light shade, then you don’t need to bleach them).  Mix black and dark blue Dylon, and follow the instructions on the pack to create a dye bath – you generally just need salt and warm water, to which you add the dye powder.
Dip the bottom of the jeans into the dye bath to about 5cm lower than you want the color to go, then lift out and leave the very hems of the jeans in the dye for about 45 minutes. To achieve a cool gradient effect with the dye, slowly lift and clip the pants an inch or two every 15 to 20 minutes. Then (with rubber gloves on) rub the colour gently up the jeans to get the smooth colour gradation. Hang the jeans outside for 1/2 hour or so, making sure they won’t drip on anything that will stain. Finally, rinse thoroughly in cold water (and follow any other instructions on the dye pack for setting the colour), dry, and wear!

Remember to follow the washing and care instructions for the dye you use before you wear the pants.
Also, if you’re really feeling inspired, you can use this same method to dip dye just about anything!
